Welcome back everyone! We are taking it back to our home roots this week by exploring the wonderful Lehigh Valley! If you’ve followed us in the past, you’ll know that we are from Bethlehem, PA and love eating our way all throughout the Lehigh Valley. With the summer beginning to wind down, we thought it would be a lot of fun to explore a little bit extra and give all of you some inspiration on where to dine out next!
While there are tons of incredible restaurants with delicious food, we’re going to share more than just great eats – we’re going to share some fabulous restaurants that not only have yummy eats, but beautiful views! We are talking open skies, sunsets, city views, everything! Get ready for some outdoor beauty and to get your phones ready to make some reservations, because these restaurants are going to blow you away!
Zest: Bethlehem PA
You can always count on having a beautiful view when you’re dining in at Zest! The incredible part is that you can enjoy stunning views from anywhere in the restaurant, whether you’re sitting outside or indoors.
At UBMe, one of our favorite times to go is when the sun is setting, so that you can experience the gorgeous golden hour and colors of the sky. It makes for such a relaxing setting, and of course is very picturesque. If you check out Zest on Instagram, you’ll see many beautiful photos of their views, just like this one!
Obviously we are discussing great views this week, but we can’t forget about the delicious food and fabulous cocktails!
We love all of the cocktails on Zest’s summer list, the Zestini is one of our absolute favorites! The Colada-Tini is also one of our favorite summer cocktails, especially on an excessively hot day.
If you’re looking to share some apps while watching the sunset, we will ALWAYS recommend the Crab & Mango Spring Rolls (we get them every time). We also love the Crispy Chicken Dumplings and Octopus Tostada!
We hope this has inspired you to dine in at Zest in Bethlehem, PA sometime soon! And remember, if you don’t make it by the end of summer, no worries! You can still enjoy the wonderful views when it’s cooler out from inside or outdoors alongside their toasty heaters!
Three OAK Steakhouse: Easton PA
We are on to our next location with a marvelous view to enjoy! Our friends at Three OAK Steakhouse deliver such a fine treat by having their beautiful rooftop bar! You can feel like sky overhead and witness the most absolute beautiful sunsets night skies.
When it gets dark enough and the sky is clear, the light of the moon comes in and you feel like you’re having the best night ever! Add in some of their amazing cocktails and delicious entrees and you really do have the perfect combination for a wonderful night out.
Steak & Cocktails Galore!
Oh, hello there! We almost didn’t see you there, we were too fixated on these BEAUTIFUL cocktails! So, Three OAK Steakhouse is obviously known for their (you guessed it) NY style steak, but they have so many other wonderful offerings and drinks to pair with every meal.
We know that not everyone loves steak (although those of us at UBMe are HUGE steak-lovers) so we’d like to share some of the other amazing options they have – including TONS of amazing seafood options!
The Pan Seared Shrimp has to be our favorite, done with Lobster Risotto, Asparagus and Boursin Cream Sauce, it is just delicious!
Now, if you weren’t Team Steak before, did this photo change your mind? If not, we hope you consider trying some of the seafood options, sharable sides, salads or appetizers – we know you’re going to love pretty much anything you try, since Three OAK creates nothing but the best!
If you’re considering venturing up to the Rooftop Bar to enjoy the view but not sure you’ll make it before the end of the summer, have no fear! They have beautiful fireplaces going so you won’t feel the crisp night’s air – you’ll just feel happy and content being surrounded by such a wonderful atmosphere!
Hotel Bethlehem: Bethlehem PA
Are you ready for a picturesque experience in downtown Bethlehem? We love dining at Hotel Bethlehem not just for the food and drinks (although they’re definitely worth it!) but for the beautiful window views of the quaint, Main Street scene!
The street comes to life at night with all of the lamps and lighting and it’s such a great enhancement to the already delicious food and fabulous atmosphere of Hotel Bethlehem’s grand interior!
As you can see, the large, open windows just enhance any plated dish and makes for quite a spectacular ambience!
That right there is why Hotel Bethlehem is on our list for amazing views while dining out!
Patio Time!
One thing that we absolutely love in addition to great views are dining outside on the beautiful patios of downtown, Bethlehem! Hotel Bethlehem has such a lovely, quaint outdoor area set up if you’d like to dine outdoors for lunch or dinner.
You can also be sure that if you choose this option at night, the heaters will be on so you will be super comfy and cozy while enjoying fabulous eats and drinks!
We hope that you enjoy all of the wonderful dishes that Hotel Bethlehem has to offer and that you can take advantage of their wide selection of cocktails as well! Next time you’re looking for a spot to dine out at, we hope that you consider a meal with a view and think of Hotel Bethlehem immediately – we know that they’re always at the top of our list!
